I must say im more excited with every passing day. As we get closer and closer to the First game against the Miami Heat , I think to last year. The final was 120 to 115 Knicks over Heat in the season opener. David Lee (mvp) had a double double, (16 points 11 rebounds), and from looking at the rest of the stats the whole team really performed well in the First game of the season. It was spread around well and we didnt even have Al Harrington yet. With the addition of Jordan Hill and a cast of other young talented players i feel we are gonna once again beat the Heat in this first game.
Right now the Starters are as follows as of Oct 23
At the gaurd positions:
Wilson Chandler & Chris Duhon
At the fowards:
Jared Jeffries & Al Harrington
At Center (MVP)
To me this is a pritty healthy lineup, and i hope Lee Will be rotating wiht Jordan Hill instead of Darco Milicic . Im expecting good things from our rookie, but iv been expecting good things from our rookies in the past and we all remmeber Mike Sweetney.
Danilo Gallinari will be backing up Jeffries, and Marcus Landry will back up harringtoni like this and feel for what we have to work with this is the best posible rotation we can have at the current time.
Nate Robinson will be sixth man again this year and Toney Douglas will back up chandler, or we could go with Larry Hughes to back up either gaurd postion.
To close I feel that we are still a ways off from where we need to be, but we are definetly headed in the right direction.
